Recently, we got several new plants to decorate our building lobby. This is one of those that are in full bloom.
A white bougainvillea.
A pink bougainvillea, my mum's favourite.
I was fascinated by this flower. It seemed as if its petals were made of pink cream.
And this one felt as if it was made of white cream!
A burst of deep orange amid the green.
Sadiyah, my daughter, found this one on the ground and decided to keep it as a souvenir of our 'picture hunt'.
A flash of yellow in the leaves.
Sadiyah and her 'collection'.
A couple of pictures shot elsewhere.
At the start of every financial year, my father opens new account books for his business. This year, the first words in the books were written by Sadiyah, with a little help from her mother.
The words were 'Bismillah al-Rahman al-Rahim' -- In the name of Allah, the most gracious, the most compassionate.
